Bandera to Boerne (pronounced Bernie)

OWe had a noisy night, with some dreadful country music coming from a local bar and then some a****ole with a Harley and no baffles driving around at 3am. Luckily, because we only had 25 miles to travel, we had planned a late start. An excellent breakfast was had at a nearby cafe. I then ran into the local early shift.

Last night's noise was coming from these two bars.

Off we go.

We had the usual slow ups and 25 mph downhills.

We were passed on a fairly steep hill by some bikers. Oh how I coveted their horsepower.

Nice hotel.

Carriage anyone?

The steps up to our room. We had no idea what to expect and we certainly did not expect what we got.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, minus the chainsaw.

That is a working sink.

Excellent bath. Not sure I would fit in it though.

I thought it was a mangle. Apparently it is a corn chucker?

Walkies.

Wild Billl Hickock. I'll let you work out which one.

Don's new bike.

So is it Jewellery, jewelry or jewelery?  All advertising the same shop!

Not without meeting first.

Here come the Judge.

Colourful fire hydrant.

Matching bike!

Pre-dinner aperitifs.

We had an excellent and reasonably priced meal in the hotel restaurant.

Biggish day tomorrow with nearly 50 miles to cover. Night night.
