Kerrville to Bandera

PP

Leo decided to take advantage of some 'cold pool therapy', to help him recover from the day's endeavours.

This morning, as we expected overnight rain, we had a later breakfast and planned to set off at 10am.

I fancied the one in the middle.

This was the view opposite the hotel and I would not be cycling up that.

The weather forecast  was correct and we had a strong North wind at our backs.

That made Leo very happy.

This was as camp a meeting as I have ever seen.

That way?

This was the only section  of the ride where we cycled into the wind and it was brutal. Fortunately, it was less than a mile.

I did not expect to see a zebra in a field!

At last, the first day since we started, we actually had somewhere to stop for lunch.

Watch out for the camel.

Excellent lunch. A bit smarter than we are used to.

Some Bison.

Another ranch.

Nice home but I wouldn't fancy cycling up to it

Our 'motel' in Bandera.

Functional and plenty of room.

Bandera is full of Bikers.

Here is a big coo.

A fancy old car.

It was all too much for Don.

Today was great due to the 20 mph plus tailwind.

Tomorrow we have the wind behind us again but to a lesser degree.
